Chapter 247 Dining Area
"Luckily the shirt is big. It should be fine. Let\'s go." He said stretching his left hand out to her.
Finally, a smile turned up on Zhang Liling\'s lips as she immediately took his hand and followed him out of the room.
She had been worried about her not putting on any bra being noticed from the sculpture of her chest, but luckily, it wasn\'t that noticeable and since Mr. Fang said it was fine, then she didn\'t have to be worried.
Had it been she had thought about her not having any proper underwear plus clothes to wear, she would have actually thought twice about staying over at the Fang house.
Outside, Fang Bingwen showed her around. He started from the East wing where his bedroom was located and went over to the other side (West wing) to point out a few things for her.
"There are more than 9 bedrooms up here and two living rooms..." Mr. Fang said while leading her down the stairs.
"I didn\'t know your house had this much space mere looking at it from outside." Zhang Liling said in wonder as her gaze darted around, where her eyes could reach.
She was surprised at how big the Fang Mansion with a traditional setting was when viewed from inside.
Viewing the house from outside did not do any justice to it in any way.
After showing her around, inside, he took her outside to show her the large garden.
Half of it was used for recreational purposes, while the other was used to plant different kinds of Vegetables.
"Wow! I didn\'t know your family grew their own vegetables." Zhang Liling said dumbstruck. Gazing at the fresh vegetables, she couldn\'t help but comment about them.
"They are so well taken care of."
As the smile reached her eyes, she couldn\'t help admiring the healthy looking vegetables and just then at the spot, she began to crave for fresh vegetables.
Staring at the side view of her face, Mr. Fang couldn\'t help but to tease her.
"Why do you look like look like you can\'t wait to steal them?"
"Mr. Fang, it seems that you know what is going on in my mind at the moment." She said without sparing him a glance.
"I feel like going into that little farm and picking as much fresh vegetables, tomatoes and pumpkins my hands can reach."
"Little thief. Let\'s go." He said and without waiting for her reaction, he directly took her hand and pulled her away.
While walking on the cemented stone paths in the middle of the carpet grass, Zhang Liling swung his arm gently as she glanced at him.
"Mr Fang, say, do you think your grandma would give me some of the fresh vegetables if I ask?"
"So your mind is still on them?" He asked with raised brows.
Didn\'t she know how to forget something?
It looks like Mr. Fang had forgotten that she, Zhang Liling, was one of his best graduating students. Her memory was not for fancy.
Shaking her head in response, she continued to stare at him, hoping for a positive answer.
"Why do you want the vegetables? Do you want to cook something?" He asked instead of responding to her earlier question.
"Yes, I want to make something fresh for us. Mr. Fang, in case you don\'t know, I know how to prepare some local dishes now." Zhang Liling said with a proud smile.
Back when she was in Paris, there were some things she spent her time on, and learning how to cook was one of it.
Seeing that smirk on her face, Fang Bingwen shifted his gaze ahead.
"There is no need to request for anything when you can get it without asking." He said suggestively.
At the entrance of the house following the front path, they met a servant who came to call them for breakfast.
Fang Bingwen walked past the servant without saying anything, while holding unto Zhang Liling.
Two minutes later, they both arrived at a large dining area with several different dishes served on the large dining table.
There were three different dining areas in the Fang House, and currently, everyone was gathered in the second one, which was the second to the largest in the house.
This was so, so that it would be possible to accommodate a good number of people.
As soon as Zhang Liling and Mr. Fang stepped into the living area, all eyes of the men and women sitting in the large dining area immediately turned to them.
Most especially, their gazes rested a little more on Zhang Liling before they looked away.
But something about the younger generation was very different. Obviously, they liked to stare a bit longer that others.
"Liling, come to my side." Old Lady Fang said almost rising to her feet as she beckoned on Zhang Liling to come and sit next to the space by her side.
Instantly, Zhang Liling greeted her along with the rest of the family elders before allowing Mr. Fang to lead her to his grandmother\'s side.
Seeing her dressed that way, Jian Cuifen gave her an apologetic look.
"Liling, we are sorry that you had to make do with Bingwen\'s clothes. It didn\'t cross my mind to find you something to wear."
Smiling from ear to ear, Zhang Liling hurriedly replied, "It\'s not your fault Aunty, I can manage."
"Aiyah!" The old exclaimed as she clapped her hands together. "It\'s all my fault for dragging you two to stay over because I wanted to punish Wenwen for coming late to my party."
Again, Zhang Liling waved it off with a smile. She was already very happy with the way they accommodated her and didn\'t give her that suggestive look she had been worried about.
Sitting next to the old lady, Mr. Fang settled on the chair next to her.
"Everyone, meet Bingwen\'s girlfriend, Zhang Liling." Old Mr. Fang said with his gaze briefly glancing at his family.
Hearing the introduction, Fang Bingwen\'s cousins looked at her with interest with each having a different thought as she nodded toward them politely.
One of them, a male who looked to be older than the others, smiled meaningfully with his gaze directed at Fang Bingwen.
"Bingwen, are you for real this time around, or are you trying to fool us with a fake girlfriend?"
