Chapter 150 - To Each His Own Problems And Stories
Absolute control is an ability that is blessed by the heavens only to very few and as long as they are within a specified location, they would be invincible and no one could do anything to him.
Moreover, the royal family could not openly wage a war with a Viscount grade family as it would be a blatant disrespect to the heavens and it would only make them face the consequences.
As for what the Family head Pawl had to do, he knew about it very well as it was not his first time.
"Commander Gill, some people will become arrogant just because of a blessing from \'That\' entity. As long as no one from the outside enters his town or makes business with the town, its rate of growth will be very slow."
"Moreover, what happens if someone from that town goes out and dies? It will only get destroyed with time….Haha."
Pawl laughed as he said his thoughts to commander Gill.
As for the entity he mentioned in his words was none other than Heavens; however, as an experienced person in destroying the blessed families that didn\'t swear loyalty to the royal family, he knew how careful he had to be whenever he talked about Heavens.
\'Let\'s see how that bastard will survive the cunning Pawl.\'
Hearing the family head Pawl\' words, Commander Gill felt good to imagine the fate of the Hellmore family.
.....
On the same night in Silverstone town.
"So, you decided to stay back."
In the meeting hall of the Raindrop manor, Lucas said to the three young men who were around 20 years old.
"Yes, family head Lucas."
The three of them were respectful to Lucas as they replied to him at the same time.
During the invasion, they saw how powerful Lucas was. Even with the strength of tier 3 lesser knight, he was able to kill so many rank 4 evil spirit beasts.
Moreover, he even fought for much longer than others. So, it was natural for them to respect Lucas.
"If you don\'t mind, can you give me a brief introduction of yourselves and your past?"
Since the three families decided to stay back in the Silverstone town, Lucas wanted to know more about them before helping them in developing their families.
"It\'s not a problem, family head."
One of the young men nodded his head as he started his introduction, "I am Bryok, the family head of the Darkfang family. I was one of the least favoured young masters who got kicked out of an Earl grade family from Alverton firmament, for beating the most favoured young master."
\'Oh.\'
Lucas nodded his head as he observed the features of the young man named Bryok.
Bryok was thin with a small scar on his cheek. Also, Lucas could sense that this black-robed young man\'s childhood was not so great in his family.
Lucas was not surprised about Bryok coming from the Alverton firmament because all the kicked out young masters from the other firmaments try to prove themselves in the Barren firmament before returning back to their family.
However, some of the young men would create their own family and develop it to a certain stage before making it a subsidiary of the main family.
There is another category that severs all ties with the main family and does their best to make the main family regret kicking them out of the family.
\'He is telling the truth.\'
With the help of his [Fighter\'s sense], Lucas was able to tell that Bryok was telling the truth. So, he nodded his head at Bryok before looking at the second young man.
"Jenson, the family head of the Earthenhelm family. I was from a Marquis grade family with the same family name from the Lunaris firmament. However, currently, there is only one Earthenhelm family and it is in the Silverstone town."
The young man named Jenson had a muscular body with a height of around six feet which looked like a sturdy wall while he was standing.
"Are you by any chance special in Weapon refining?"
Lucas didn\'t know why he felt the Earthenhelm family name was familiar, but he asked about the speciality of the family.
"Yes. We used to specialize in weapon refining and competed with the Weapons pavilion in the Lunaris firmament and in Crystalvile firmament."
Jensen answered Lucas; however, he was sad as he continued saying, "However, other than me and a couple of guardians, there was not a single one of them alive. Even though I have a talent in weapons refining, there is no one knowledgable or no books related to weapons refining are with me."
Whenever he thought about it, Jenson was still unable to believe that the mighty family that was blessed by the Heavens was destroyed within a single night.
\'Crystalvile firmament? Where did I hear that family name before?\'
When he heard that, Lucas raised his eyebrows and tried to search for the \'Earthenhelm family\' in his memories.
\'That\'s right! One day, my predecessor heard the conversation between his father and the old man Bernard.\'
After searching his memories, Lucas finally got to know where he heard that family name and came to a conclusion, \'I will ask the old man Bernard about it after this meeting.\'
"I am sorry to hear that."
Even though Lucas didn\'t know about the destruction of the entire family, from his predecessor\'s emotions, he could feel the pain. So, he said those words.
Jensen silently sat down because he feared if he spoke more, the dams in his eyes might open.
"My name is Kenal and I am an orphan who stumbled upon an inheritance ground that changed my talent and made me a Fire knight and a fire mage. With the resources I saved and got from the inheritance ground, I created a family named Amber gaze of my own with my brothers and sisters who were orphans just like me. This Silverstone town is our home and no matter what, he would protect it with our lives."
Kenal knew what Lucas would ask. So, he already gave the answer at the end of his introduction.
